Do this ONE thing for success

What I’m about to share with you is a secret to success. Doing this one thing will lead to more clarity and also more peace throughout your day.  It is very simple. This newsletter will be short, and to the point.  The secret to success is:  Do the one thing that you have the most resistance to FIRST.   When you start your day, you either have a written or mental list of all that you need to get done in that day. And within your list, there is the one thing that you have the most resistance to.  It could be a phone call you need to make. It could be working out. It could be writing a paper for work or school.  You know yourself well. And you know what the thing on your to-do list is, that ends up holding you back. It’s the thing you procrastinate on.  Whatever this “thing” is,  DO IT FIRST .  Here’s why… If it’s what you resist, it means you hold a lot of energy around it. It may be challenging or difficult for you. And the more energy you hold around it, the more it will weigh you down.  The more you feel weighed down, the less clarity and peace you will feel  in all aspects of your life , as you go about your day.  But as soon as you finish that task you hold resistance to, you will all of a sudden feel a sense of liberation. Even if it’s a difficult phone call you have to make, you will still feel a sense of liberation for having done it.  This feeling of liberation will lead to ease with all the other things you have to get done. Once you get the hardest task taken care of, and checked off your list, everything else will seem easy.
