At the subconscious level, this is holding you back

What do you think people’s number one fear is?     Death? Failure? Public speaking? Loneliness?     The above list are common fears we’ve all heard about; and may even feel personally.     There is another fear I’m coming across in my work that seems to be at the root of so many other fears, even the ones I listed above.     The root fear I’m uncovering in people is fear of rejection .     When we move deeper into the layers of fear, there’s always reasons why. And at the core, there are subconscious reasons for our thoughts, words and actions.     Looking at the list above, the root cause for three out of the four fears is rejection.     And it makes sense. Because humans long to be heard, understood, accepted and loved. Every single person on this planet wants to feel they belong . It’s a primordial desire within each of us.     So then what is the opposite of belonging? Rejection.     And this root fear of rejection dominates so many of our day-to-day decisions, stemming from the subconscious.     Imagine if the possibility of rejection would be non-existent. How would you go about your interactions with other people? Would you interact more? How would you make decisions when it comes to your dreams? Would you try more times?     Now here’s the thing… Since most people have a fear of rejection, do you think the ones who achieve the most are aware of this fear, but don’t let it stop them?     I’d say, “YES.”     I’ve read so many stories of entertainers who were so nervous before going on stage, or the camera, that they wanted to vomit. But they did it anyway. And each time they did it, it became just a little bit easier. Then one day before they knew it, going on stage or before the camera became second nature.     We’ve all heard the phrase, “Feel the fear and do it anyway.”     It’s so true, because this is what will make you advance in life.     No one grows by remaining in their comfort zone. NO ONE . So the ones who grew, who got promoted, who attained their dreams are the ones who stepped outside of their comfort zone.     And once we move past the fear, we feel true liberation . There’s a reason for this. Fear becomes blocked energy. And if we don’t do something about this blocked energy, it gets to the point of paralyzing us.     But when we walk into this fear, face it, deal with it, and take action on it, we attain the power to dissolve it. And what happens with dissolved fear?     It opens up space for liberation .     We feel free. We feel empowered.     We have risen.     {{ On a side note…     Since almost every single person on this planet is dealing with fear of rejection on a subconscious level, do you think that is a reason for the success of new social “connections” such as Facebook or dating apps?     Facebook and dating apps fulfilled the desire to connect, while at the same time managed the underlying pain point for connection: Fear of being rejected once a connection was attempted.     These new online additions to our culture have different meanings for different people… What I’m sharing is food for thought, with room for debate. }}     But let’s get back to the real issue of this blog: Everyone is dealing with fear of rejection. It is something that paralyzes people. So what if you recognized this, and raised yourself above the norm of society? How can you do that?        Feel the fear and do it anyway.       Get past the cliché that the above statement is, and recognize the truth in it.     What is one thing you’ve wanted to do but haven’t done?     Dissect your thought process. Dissect your feelings. When you do this, is fear at the cornerstone? Do you fear rejection?     What is one tiny thing you can do to move past your fear? And I emphasize tiny because you want to gently and slowly deal with your fear. If you try and take a step that’s too big, you will paralyze yourself.     So take the tiny step forward.     And while you do, remind yourself that you are not alone. Almost every single person deals with fear of rejection. But the way to rise above the crowd, or to simply rise above the cage of your mind is to feel the fear and do it anyway .     Easier said than done? Perhaps.     But would you rather try, and at least know that you tried, or do you want to remain stagnant in your life?     No one grows by remaining in their comfort zone. NO ONE .     Please send this blog to five people. The first five people that come to your mind are meant to receive this message. Do not overthink who and why. Just know that if they came to your mind, they are meant to read this message.     May each person on this planet release the illusions that hold them back from living a fulfilled life. May each person on this planet feel liberation... TRUE LIBERATION, where the soul feels free.       Wishing you freedom and expansion,     Michelle

The root fear I’m uncovering in people is fear of rejection.

Every single person on this planet wants to feel they belong.

I’d say, “YES.”

I’ve read so many stories of entertainers who were so nervous before going on stage, or the camera, that they wanted to vomit. But they did it anyway.
