Are you in clenched fist or open relationships?

Dear Newsletter Family,

With today’s video, I share a quote that I heard from Indira Gandhi that I feel is so beautiful, and so telling, for the era of life we're living.

Her quote is:
You can’t shake hands with clenched fists.
I feel this quote is so simple, beautiful and true.
Our energy speaks as loud as our words, and our actions. If we’re saying really nice things to someone, but we’re not really feeling the words we are expressing, the other person will realize there is a discrepancy between our words and actions.
We feel other people’s energy on a subconscious level.
And I feel this quote is so telling for the era of life we’re in, because we live in the technological era. We can learn a lot about a person through social media. But we're still missing that face to face, human element.
So when you are face to face with someone, if you can put your guards down, and allow the authentic, real you, to come forward, you'll resonate so much deeper with them.

Having our guards up is equivalent to going into a relationship with clenched fists.

Being closed off does not get us anywhere.

As a society, we're missing openness, vulnerability, presence and authenticity.

So if a person displays what we're missing, we are bound to to immediately notice. It will be like a breath of fresh air.
When there is a relationship where both people are closed off, it’s like two clenched fists trying to come together. {I demonstrate this in the video}
What we need are people who are willing to truly be open.

And yes, it would be nice if everyone were open. But the reality is not everyone will be open.

The message I want to convey in this newsletter is for YOU to be open.
You will stand out.
You will resonate differently onto others.
You will actually give others permission to be vulnerable and authentic as well.

If you know of anyone who could benefit from the message of this newsletter, please forward it to them.

I wish you a wonderful week!

With Gratitude,
